Returns

VEHICLE PROGRAMMERS RETURN POLICY

At VEHICLE PROGRAMMERS, we treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. Products purchased at VEHICLE PROGRAMMERS are returnable for 30 days after purchase unless otherwise noted.

Please Note: Your return must be pre-authorized by making a return request (below) within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. No returns will be accepted after 30 days of purchase.

Returns must be complete in their original packaging, and must be returned in "like new/unused" condition. Returns missing components, or parts that have been disassembled or damaged due to incorrect installation will not be credited. We are not responsible for incorrect installation by you and/or your mechanic. We are not responsible for any expenses incurred or caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.

Returns and exchanges typically fall under one of the following categories:

  • Faulty Product
  • Wrong Product
  • Buyer’s Remorse

Returns due to a Faulty Product:

VEHICLE PROGRAMMERS is an authorized dealer for all of the items we sell. As such, all of our products are covered by the full manufactures warranty. Many are even "internet updateable" and problems can often be handled over the phone with the manufacturer. If the manufacturer can not fix the problem, please proceed as follows.

  1. Complete the RMA form below.
  2. A Return Authorization, along with shipping instructions, will be sent to you via email within 48 hours.
  3. Once the faulty product is received, it will sent to the manufacturer for product inspection. This can take up to 30 days.
  4. Once approved by the manufacturer,
  5. We will email you a tracking number for your new shipment.

Please note that vehicle tuning doesn't always go as planned, and it is possible that the tuner will not install on the first try. In the event that the tuner doesn't work with your vehicle out of the box, the customer is expected to make a reasonable attempt to work with the manufacturer to resolve the problem. If the manufacturer determines that the correct part was purchased but can not make it work with the customers vehicle, then a full refund will be issued. If the customer decides not to spend the time necessary to work with the manufacturer, then a 20% restocking fee will apply.

Returns due to a Wrong Product:

  1. Complete the RMA form below.
  2. If you ordered the wrong part, we will email you an RMA number along with the address to return your item to.
  3. If we sent you the wrong part, we will email you an RMA number along with a pre-paid shipping label.
  4. When we receive the wrong part back from you, we will ship out the correct product with 2 business day.
  5. We will email you a tracking number for your new shipment.

Returns due to Buyer’s Remorse

Please Note: Product results, including mileage gains, are not guaranteed, and returns will fall under this category.

  1. Complete the RMA form below.
  2. We will email you an RMA number along with the address to return your item to.
  3. Once your item is receive at our warehouse, it will be inspected to verify that it is not damaged and is in "like new" condition. Items returned to us in acceptable condition will receive a credit
  4. Within 10-15 business days of receiving the acceptable product at our warehouse, your credit card will be issued a credit of 80% of your original purchase price. A 20% restocking fee will be charged to offset all fees, including credit card transaction fees, shipping charges, etc. A $20 minimum return fee will apply to products valued at less than $100.
  5. If you refuse the original shipment, when the product is returned to our warehouse by our shipper service, your credit card will be issued a credit of 80% of your original purchase price. The same 20% restocking fee (minimum $20) applies.
